AISoftBox Sdn Bhd is a retail-tech company established in 2020 in Malaysia, offering technology that helps retailers go green at the cash register.
We are on a mission to remove toxic paper receipts from the planet. We want to see retail business owners and customers kiss goodbye to paper receipts and yet have all the benefits it gives and more.
Paper receipts are painful and are difficult to keep safe for returns, exchanges, and proof of tax benefits. Sometimes proof of purchases is necessary to be kept for as long as 5 years. This is a painful yet necessary task.
We have taken it on us to make this easy for everyone involved.
The current technology allows retailers to be far more efficient with receipts than merely printing them on toxic paper or sending them to an email address.
AISoftBox has ensured that this technological transformation is both smooth and cost-effective for retailers. With AISoftBox, Retailers can start offering digital receipts for almost free depending on their current setup.
Journey
Our journey started in a coffee shop with friends chatting about the number of losses they have incurred for the goods they haven’t been able to return or claim tax due to lack of receipts or lost receipts.
We decided to do something about it as there was no viable solution that suits all involved with receipts.
The idea of digital receipts itself is not new but we wanted everyone to benefit from this new model and that became our design principle.
Technology
For Digital Receipts to happen, we built innovative technology and designed a unique retail customer display device POP to make it easy for the business to transition to paperless receipts. This device is may be necessary only if the retailer does not want to modify existing ePOS and wants a simple solution.
We created an awesome mobile application for consumers to help them adapt to paperless receipts and save all their receipts in one place to be able to find them anytime, anywhere.
AISoftBox is estimated to save at least 2 paper rolls per till per day for an average retailer. That’s 720 paper rolls a year and is equal to 1 tree. So every Till that goes green with AISoftBox saves 1 tree per year. To top it up, AISoftBox plants one tree every time we get a new app download, a new follower on social media, and when a new retailer goes green with AISoftBox.
